Checking In Again

Hey Everyone

Wow! I can't believe this is my first post for this year and we are already in the middle of summer. The reason I haven't been blogging a lot, is because I didn't get a very good start to my year. I actually broke my knee cap at the start of the year and was out of action for a good few months. Just from that happening and trying to get better I never found the time to get blogging.

I'm a lot better now, still suffer some pain. I'm back in action and fully enjoying summer and some of the great weather have been getting her in Northern Ireland.

Awareness Week

This week awareness week for people like myself who suffer from spina bifda and hydrocephalus. Soi thought it would be good to talk on it a little. This type of illness is the type to have so many various kinds, that no two people with the same type will suffer the same medical issues. Also with this illness there are five different types and some people will still be able to walk and others like myself will have to use a wheelchair to get around. If there is one thing I have learnt from it! Is that I do t let it get in the way of my life.

Hi Everyone

So last night I was out at the shops and seen sliver lining play book for sale. This a film that I always wanted to see, never got the last to. I just had to buy it, when it was down to a good price. I didn't get watching it last night, I will be watching it at some point over the weekend. Really looking its going to be as good as everyone says it is.

Including disabled people in television adverts

Hi Everyone

I know I haven't updated in a while....sorry! I just have been really busy in work and other things in life.  Last night I was sitting watching some tv show and during the advert I came across a new one, that I hadn't seen before. That first I thought there were promoting wheelchair basketball, u til I seen the whole advert. I was totally wrong. Just from seeing this advert I was so glad to see an able disable people and wheelchair sport all put into the one advert. So I thought I would share it with you all.

When the weather is Great....

Hi Everyone

So for about the last three weeks the weather in Northern Ireland has been totally amazing. When the weather is great, it's not a bad place to live. As I'm out an about being able to exercise, relax in the sun or just go sit by the harbour and watch the world go by.

I thought it would a nice idea to share with you some of the pictures I have taken in the nice weather, I hope you all like them.
